JTBC‘s Monday entertainment programs will be canceled to mourn the plane disaster.

JTBC announced on the 30th, “The 143rd episode of JTBC’s ‘Talk Pawon 12PM’, which was scheduled to air at 8:50 PM on Monday, December 30th, and the 113th episode of ‘Strongest Baseball’, which was scheduled to air at 10:30 PM, will be canceled.”

At approximately 9:03 AM on the 29th, a Jeju Air passenger plane departing from Bangkok, Thailand crashed and exploded at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province. There were 181 people on board the plane, 179 South Koreans and 2 Thais, and 179 died, excluding the two who were rescued.

The government designated a seven-day national mourning period from today until January 4th of next year in relation to the Jeju Air accident.
