The production conference for the new SBS drama ‘My Perfect Secretary’ has been canceled due to the aftermath of the Jeju Air passenger plane crash.

On the 30th, SBS said, “The production conference for ‘My Perfect Secretary’ that was scheduled for 2 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025 has been canceled. We express our deepest condolences and comfort to the victims and their bereaved families,” and asked for the press’s understanding. They also said that the originally planned first episode “will air as scheduled.” Originally, the production conference for ‘My Perfect Secretary’ was planned to be attended by director Ham Joon-ho and lead actors Han Ji-min, Lee Joon-hyuk, Kim Do-hoon, and Kim Yoon-hye, with Park Kyung-rim serving as the MC.

‘My Perfect Secretary’ is a close care romance between Ji-yoon, the CEO of a headhunting company who is only good at ‘work’, and Eun-ho, a secretary who is also ‘perfect’. Episode 1 will air on SBS on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 10 PM. Episode 2 will air 10 minutes earlier on Saturday at 9:50 PM.

Meanwhile, at approximately 9:03 AM on the 29th, a Jeju Air passenger plane attempted a bottom landing after failing to lower the landing gear at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do, deviated from the runway, crashed into the outer wall, and exploded.
