‘Pregnancy Announcement’ Choi Yeon-chung, Leaves C-JeS [Official]

Actress Choi Yeon-chung has left C-JeS Studio.

On the 30th, C-JeS Studio announced, “The exclusive contract with Choi Yeon-chung, who has been with our company, has ended. We thank you for your precious relationship with C-JeS Studio, and we hope that all the paths actress Choi Yeon-chung takes will shine.”

Choi Yeon-chung, who was Miss Korea in 2013, debuted in the entertainment industry in 2015 by appearing in the music video for Super Junior‘s ‘Magic’. While she was active mainly in the Chinese-speaking world, she became the first Korean actor to sign a contract with a major Chinese agency, Erdong Fanxing, and was ranked among the top actors in their 20s.

Choi Yeon-chung began her Korean activities in earnest in 2020, but took a hiatus after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She married a sitting judge in June of last year, and announced her pregnancy on Christmas Day, the 25th of this month. He said on SNS, “A precious life has come to me. Luca came to me with a vivid dream of a pure white beluga whale being held in my arms. I wanted to tell you the good news quickly, but I was worried about what to do and was also cautious, so I’m only telling you now.” He added, “It still doesn‘t feel real, but I’m spending each day with a grateful and happy heart thanks to the support and blessings of my family.”
