Choi Bul-am, the stalwart of ‘The Korean Table’, is making a comeback.

On the KBS 1TV New Year‘s special ‘The Korean Table’, which will air on the afternoon of the 2nd (Thursday), national actor Choi Bul-am will return to viewers after a three-month hiatus.

Choi Bul-am, the ‘national gourmet’, who has traveled the country to tell stories about our land, people, and the tables within them, went on vacation for the first time in 14 years in September of last year. In the meantime, actors Kim Min-ja, Lee Je-hoon, Ryu Seung-ryong, Ji Jin-hee, Hwang Jung-min, Han Ji-min, Go Doo-shim, Shin Ha-kyun, singer Lee Moon-se, and Big Bang’s Taeyang, 10 stars filled his spot with relay narration.

Choi Bool-am, who returned to the recording studio after a long time, said, “I felt touched, thankful, and grateful when I heard that many viewers had been waiting for me.”

The New Year‘s special ‘Hope for the New Year’s Table in 2025’, which opens with Choi Bul-am‘s question, “What are your wishes for the New Year?”, will present a New Year’s table filled with warm comfort and new hope encountered on a journey that follows the first sunlight of the New Year, from the splendid sunrise of the East Sea to the golden ripples of the West Sea.
