The full story of the murder of the wealthy grandmother in Gangnam will be revealed on ‘Brave Detectives 4’.

In the 17th episode of ‘Brave Detectives 4 (directed by Lee Ji-sun)’ on Tcast E Channel, which will air on the 3rd, Superintendent Park Jong-gi, former Superintendent Yoon Oe-chul of the Scientific Investigation Unit (KCSI), Superintendent Kim Jin-soo, and singer Choi Ye-na will appear as guests and foreshadow extraordinary performances.

The case introduced on the broadcast that day begins with the discovery of the body of an 80-year-old grandmother in an apartment building in Gangnam. The grandmother‘s body, found in the bedroom, had both hands tied and a strangulation mark on her neck.

The grandmother was the owner of a multi-family home and had assets worth several billion won, including an apartment in Gangnam. Rumors spread throughout the neighborhood that she was quite wealthy.

The investigation team estimated that someone had come to the grandmother’s house while she was eating, based on the fact that a meal was set on an electric mat in the bedroom and that the table and chairs had fallen over in the living room, and that a considerable physical fight had broken out the moment the door was opened.



While the investigation was going through difficulties due to the lack of CCTVs near the victim‘s house, the same male’s DNA was detected on the bridge of the victim‘s nose, around the lips, and under the fingernails, so the investigation team traced the DNA database of criminals.

In the meantime, a detective who was carefully examining the house once again found a calendar hanging on the wall of the grandmother’s house. The investigation gains momentum as suspicious traces marked in red are discovered. What was the last piece of evidence left behind by the grandmother?
