In fact, the old man‘s true identity was not a lecherous old man, but Byeong-pan’s (played by Yoon Je-moon) niece, Lady Do-kyung (played by Kwon Eun-bin). Because of the three people who caused a commotion to save Hong Deok-soo, Do-kyung slapped Hong Deok-soo in the face. In fact, regardless of his will, Do Kyung had to go to Onyang the next day to meet Prince Muyeong Lee Eun (played by Bae In-hyeok) by order of the Byung-pan. This was Byeong-pan’s scheme to arrange the marriage between Lee Eun and Do-gyeong and establish his grandson, Seonyang-gun, as the crown prince.

Hong Deok-su suggested a bet to Do-gyeong on double-crossing, and said that if he won, they should go on a night outing. Go Soo-ra dressed up as a woman and shook off the attendants, and Lee Eun-ho went to the lake first to prepare for the outing. Do-gyeong disguised himself as an educational servant and left for the outing place with Hong Deok-su and Cheon Jun-hwa. When people approached him at Yongcheon-ru, Hong Deok-su lured them away, and in the process, Hong Deok-su met Lee Eun-ho first.

Lee Eun-ho and Hong Deok-su went on an outing alone, and they spent time catching fireflies for Do-gyeong. Cheon Jun-hwa, who joined Do-kyung and the outing late, sensed the strange atmosphere between the two when he saw this. While the four of them, Lee Eun-ho, Hong Deok-soo, Cheon Jun-hwa, and Do-kyung, were enjoying the outing while looking at the beautiful lake scenery, the people of Yongcheonru who received a report from Kim Myung-ho (played by Lee Ho-won) barged in.

Everyone, including Lady Do-kyung, was called to a meeting with Seol Mae-hwa and the three great ministers. At this meeting, Kim Myung-ho revealed, based on his suspicions, “Hong Deok-soo is a woman.” He also tore Hong Deok-soo’s clothes in front of everyone. Seol Mae-hwa, who saw Hong Deok-soo’s wounds through his torn clothes, thought of Hong Jae-on who ran away with a wound on his arm 12 years ago.
