The script reading site of tvN‘s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘That Guy is a Black Flame Dragon’ (directed by Lee Soo-hyun, written by Kim Soo-yeon) starring Moon Ga-young, Choi Hyun-wook, Im Se-mi, and Kwak Si-yang has been revealed.

‘That Guy is a Black Flame Dragon’ is a romance story about the ‘Headquarters Killer’ Team Leader Baek Soo-jung, who suffers from a dark past, and the ‘Third-generation chaebol’ Headquarters Manager Ban Joo-yeon, who holds a black flame dragon in her chest. It is based on the popular webtoon of the same name. It is the new work of director Lee Soo-hyun ‘Beneficial Fraud’. Moon Ga-young, Choi Hyun-wook, Im Se-mi, and Kwak Si-yang appear.

On the 6th, the production team revealed the script reading site with the actors. Director Lee Soo-hyun, writer Kim Soo-yeon, Moon Ga-young (as Baek Soo-jung), Choi Hyun-wook (as Ban Joo-yeon), Im Se-mi (as Seo Ha-jin), Kwak Si-yang (as Kim Shin-won), Ban Hyo-jung (as Jeong Hyo-sun), Go Chang-seok (as Baek Won-seop), Kim Young-ah (as Kwon In-kyung), Son Sang-yeon (as Baek Soo-bin), Kim Woo-gyeom (as Yang Jun-su), Im Young-joo (as Choi Na-na), and Moon Woo-jin (child actor Ban Joo-yeon) were present at the script reading.


According to the production team, Moon Ga-young, who entered the scene with a lively greeting, led the atmosphere with her energetic appearance. As the script reading began in earnest, Moon Ga-young plays the role of Baek Soo-jung, the planning team leader of Yongseong Department Store. Choi Hyun-wook plays Ban Joo-yeon, who is leading a precarious double life as the headquarters manager of Yongseong Department Store. Lim Se-mi will play the role of Seo Ha-jin, a bar owner who lives freely wherever the wind blows, and Kwak Si-yang will play the role of Kim Shin-won, the head of the design department at Yongseong Department Store.

The production team said, “It was a script reading that was so immersive that we didn’t even realize how time had passed,” and “All the actors gave passionate performances that perfectly filled their characters, so we were able to receive a lot of energy from the very beginning. Above all, the visuals, acting, and chemistry of the four actors were all perfect, which made me very happy. ‘That Guy is a Black Flame Dragon’ is scheduled to premiere in February.
