Actor Seo Kang-joon will be returning after about 3 years with ‘Undercover High School’.
Seo Kang-joon will be appearing in MBC‘s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Undercover High School’ (planned by Nam Goong Sung-woo/written by Lim Young-bin/directed by Choi Jung-in), which will be aired for the first time in February.
‘Undercover High School’ is a work that depicts the adventures of a National Intelligence Service agent who goes undercover as a high school student to find Emperor Gojong’s missing gold bars. PD Choi Jung-in of ‘Without Going Crazy’, ‘Flowers that Bloom at Night’, and writer Lim Young-bin of ‘Sketch’, ‘Tough as Hell’ have teamed up to create the most anticipated drama of the first half of the year.
Seo Kang-joon plays the role of Jung Hae-sung, an ace field agent from the 4th domestic team of the National Intelligence Service. Jung Hae-sung disguises himself as a high school student to find Emperor Gojong‘s gold bars and embarks on an unexpected school life. As expected of an ace agent of the National Intelligence Service, he is always careful and calm, moving one step ahead of his opponents, but he will continue his chaotic school life without a single quiet day as he gets entangled with the students. Seo Kang-joon is expected to lead the drama with a variety of bright characters after a long time, encompassing both action and comedy.
Seo Kang-joon has proven his outstanding character digestion ability by showing a wide spectrum of acting from genre dramas such as ‘Hwajeong’, ‘Cheese in the Trap’, ‘Watcher’, ‘When the Weather Is Fine’, ‘Grid’, and romantic comedies to historical dramas.
MBC’s ‘Undercover High School’, starring Seo Kang-joon, will premiere in February.
