Actor Park Jung-min expressed his excitement to act with ‘global star’ BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo. He especially drew attention by emphasizing that BLACKPINK’s signed CD is his treasure.

‘Newtopia’, which will be released on February 7th, tells the story of soldier Jae-yoon (Park Jung-min) and his girlfriend Young-joo (Jisoo) running towards each other through downtown Seoul that has been attacked by zombies.

At a production conference held at the Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul on the 7th, Park Jung-min said, “There is a (decorative) cabinet at my house where I keep only precious things, and two BLACKPINK‘s signed CDs are sticking out at the very front.“

He continued, “The first signed CD I received was one I asked actress Kim Go-eun to give me. On that CD, it says, ‘Thank you for cheering me on, senior Park Jung-min.’ On the CD next to me, Jisoo gave me, it says, ‘Please take good care of me, oppa Jung-min.’. Looking at that, I thought, ‘I worked hard. I should work even harder in the future.” He then said, ”I never thought I would be talking to Jisoo and standing on the same stage like this in my life,” He was touched and made everyone laugh.
