Top star of the home theater, Suzy has returned as a ‘singer’.

The currently airing KBS 2TV entertainment program ‘My Country: A Singer, Germany Edition’ is revealing her busking performance in Munich, Germany. As Suzy, who has been focusing on acting for a while, is returning to the stage where she started, some are even raising expectations for her comeback as a singer.

On the show, Suzy is traveling to Munich with singers Sohyang, Sunwoo Junga, Henry, ATEEZ‘s Hongjoong and Jongho, guitarist Zyro, and pianist Lee Na-woo. The program focuses on the process in which they rediscover the meaning of being a singer as ‘My Country’ while experiencing unfamiliar audiences and cultures.

Suzy is appearing in an observational entertainment format for the first time since her debut, showing her everyday and natural side, garnering hot interest from fans in Korea and abroad. It is also impressive to see him calmly look back on his 15 years as a singer and actor while talking with colleagues who are active on various stages.

Above all, Suzy’s live stages, which were hard to see recently, have begun to be revealed one after another, and they have started to become a hot topic on YouTube. Videos of Suzy singing ‘Adult’, ‘Tell Me What Did You Do Today’, ‘Fitting My Makeup’ in front of local audiences have been popular, exceeding 250,000 views at most.

Suzy, who reaffirmed her passion for singing through this program, is also likely to release a new album to continue the momentum. She has occasionally released drama OSTs such as ‘Iduna!’, but the last solo album she released as a singer was the digital single ‘Cape’ in 2022.

It has been reported that Suzy has been working on songs in between filming dramas and movies, but has not been able to release an album due to lack of opportunities. She also said on a broadcast, “I wanted to release an album when I was comfortable rather than letting people know about it. That‘s why I think releasing albums is taking a little longer.”

However, for now, she plans to focus on promoting various lead roles. First, the Netflix drama ‘It Will All Come True’, which finished filming at the end of last year, is scheduled to be released this year. The drama is a new work by ‘Romance master’ Kim Eun-sook, and is expected to be a globally anticipated work as Suzy and actor Kim Woo-bin play the lead roles.
