‘Squid Game’ is boasting unwavering popularity.
According to the official Netflix website on the 8th, ‘Squid Game 2’ ranked first overall with a total viewing time of 417.1 million hours in the global market in the first week of January (December 30 - January 5). The number of views divided by the total running time is 58.2 million.
Not only did it take first place in the Netflix non-English TV show category for that week, but it also boasted an overwhelming viewing time and number of views among English TV shows and English/non-English movies.
By country, it took first place in 91 out of 93 countries where the service is available.
With this, ‘Squid Game’ Season 1 and 2 also had the honor of being named Netflix‘s most popular series (non-English) of all time.
In addition, the reverse run of Season 1 is also drawing attention.
Season 1 proved its undying global syndrome by ranking 2nd in the global TOP 10 series (non-English). Viewers are already showing their anticipation for Season 3, offering various guesses and interpretations.
