TV CHOSUN‘s hyper-realistic documentary entertainment show ‘Joseon’s Lovers’ will be accompanying mother and son Lee Kyung-sil, who had once cut ties with her. Lee Kyung-sil and her son Son Bo-seung will take the first step toward restoring their relationship with ‘Joseon‘s Lovers’.
On the 13th, comedian Lee Kyung-sil and her son, actor Son Bo-seung, will reveal their feelings at the moment when they broke off their relationship. In 2022, Son Bo-seung became a father at the young age of 23 due to a premarital pregnancy. When Lee Kyung-sil heard the news, she declared that she would ‘cut ties’ with her son in the past, which garnered public attention.
Lee Kyung-sil recalled the memory at the time, saying, “My son, who hadn’t even served in the military, became a father at the age of 23, and there was nothing I could do.” Then, she said, “The incident has already occurred, and I had to let them know that parents don‘t always accept things that happen and that they need to be responsible, so I had to be more calm,” revealing the fact that she had been pressuring her son even more as a mother. Kang Soo-ji and Hwang Bo-ra sympathized with Lee Kyung-sil’s feelings, saying, “We understand.”
However, Son Bo-seung‘s position was different. Son Bo-seung responded bitterly, saying, “I didn’t want to get help from my mom. My mom didn‘t trust me.” Son Bo-seung continued, “I’m not working hard. I‘m just doing what I have to do. It’s funny that because I‘m ’Lee Kyung-sil‘s son,’ working becomes something of an adult thing. I‘m the dad and the head of the household... but my mom is not the head of our household,” showing a dignified appearance. Here, Kim Gook-jin said, “I agree with everything Bo-seung has said so far,” and took Son Bo-seung’s side, while Hwang Bo-ra lamented the mother‘s situation, saying, “I agree, but I also agree with the mother’s position.”
The first step toward restoring the relationship between Lee Kyung-sil and Son Bo-seung, who are in conflict due to their different positions, can be seen in the ultra-realistic documentary entertainment show, “Joseon‘s Lovers,” which will air on Monday the 13th.
