Na Young-hee made a selfish choice.

In episode 28 of KBS 2TV‘s daily drama ‘Cinderella Game’ (directed by Lee Hyun-kyung / written by Oh Sang-hee) aired on the 8th, Shin Yeo-jin (played by Na Young-hee) decided to use Goo Ha-na (played by Han Groo) for her grandson Lee Eun-chong (played by Kim Gun-woo). The viewership ratings for that episode recorded 11.4% (provided by Nielsen Korea, based on nationwide households), setting its own highest viewership rating and properly showing an upward curve.

In episode 28, Yeo-jin suggested to Hwang Jin-goo (played by Choi Sang) that they disguise Ha-na as their biological daughter and bring Eun-chong back. Jin-goo adamantly opposed, saying that it would be impossible to fool even Ha-na, but Yeo-jin did not back down and went ahead with the plan.

On the other hand, Yoon Sung-ho (played by Choi Jong-hwan) decided to move into Ha-na’s house to protect Eun-chong. Seong-ho made viewers emotional when he answered “My grandfather is an adult orphan” to his grandson Eun-gong‘s question, “Is your grandfather an orphan too?”

Yeo-jin got down to business in disguising Hana as her biological daughter. She ordered Secretary Jang (played by Jung Yoon-seo) to investigate Hana. Jin-goo tried to persuade Yeo-jin to think again, but she stubbornly resisted, saying, “If you don’t do it, Secretary Jang will.”

In addition, Myeong-ji was furious when she learned from Sim Bang-ul (played by Kim Hye-ok) that Jin-goo had taken care of Hana‘s adoptive parents’ ancestral rites. She made a surprise visit to Hye-seong Tour and hit Hana in the head with her handbag as soon as she saw her. The company became a mess in an instant, and Myeong-ji continued to swear at Hana, who was left reeling from the shock. The situation was brought to a close when Yeo-jin, who witnessed Myung-ji‘s shocking act, shouted, “What is she doing?”

Jin-goo and Se-young had a heated argument over Myung-ji’s assault. Jin-goo sighed, saying that he should have checked the facts before Myung-ji, his future mother-in-law, came running to the company. Se-young responded, “Don‘t badmouth Mom in front of me! Mom would do that too,” which brought the conflict to its peak.

Meanwhile, Chairman Shin constantly tried to persuade Jin-goo in order to turn Ha-na into his daughter. In particular, Jin-goo’s wavering under Yeo-jin‘s pressure, “To you, I was worse than Goo Ha-na,” piqued curiosity about what choice he would make in the future.

At the end of the broadcast, Ha-na drew a line with Jin-goo. She treated Jin-goo coldly, asking if he could go to the hospital. In particular, the ending where Jin-goo declares, “I don’t think I can attract attention to Goo Ha-na,” in response to one of his words asking him to turn his attention away, has raised expectations for the next episode.
