Lovelyz‘s Yein ♥ KNK’s Lee Dongwon Cast in Sweet Romantic Comedy ‘Explosive Selfish Romance’

Lovelyz‘s Yein and KNK’s Lee Dongwon will be meeting in the drama ‘Explosive Selfish Romance’.

‘Explosive Selfish Romance’, based on a Naver web novel, is a sweet romantic comedy about ‘Kang Deoksim (Jeong Yein)’, a lookist who forgives many things if they‘re handsome, getting a job as a secretary to ‘Ma Sunghoon (Lee Dongwon)’, who has everything including wealth, ability, and looks, but is surrounded by rumors about his ironclad nature. ‘Office Matchmaking’ PD Jo Sung-won, who is currently the CEO of Studio Tree, was in charge of the executive producing.

First, Jung Ye-in has produced many celebrities with her talent for recognizing ‘star-destined talents’ from an early age. Then one day, she makes a deal and becomes the secretary of ‘Ma Sung-hoon’, who has the perfect looks. She plays ‘Kang Deok-shim’, who has to dispel all the rumors surrounding him. She will show everything from her lovable charm to her comical side as she devises various strategies to get close to ‘Ma Sung-hoon’, who absolutely does not let women near him.

Lee Dong-won, who will show off his comedic romantic chemistry with Jung Ye-in, plays the role of ‘Ma Sung-hoon’, a man who is perfect in everything. He is the object of everyone’s admiration because he lacks nothing, but ‘Ma Sung-hoon’ has gynophobia and lives with all kinds of rumors. ‘Explosive Romance’ is a short-form drama consisting of a total of 50 episodes (about 2 minutes per episode / running time 100 minutes) and will be available on ‘Pulse Pick’ in the first half of 2025.
