Channel A‘s ‘Best Friend Documentary - Table for Four’ will feature comedian Kim Ji-sun.
In the episode that day, Kim Ji-sun invites Jo Hye-ryun, Kim Hyo-jin, and her close friend comedian Byun Ki-soo, who are starring in the play ‘I Love You, Mom’, to her house and sets up a special table for four. In particular, she has set aside time to express her gratitude to director Jo Hye-ryun, who cast Kim Ji-sun and Kim Hyo-jin in the play, raising expectations.
Kim Ji-sun, who is well-known as the ‘representative mom of many children in the entertainment industry’, opens up about the hardships she has experienced as a mother of four children, having gone through puberty four times. She reveals her own parenting philosophy by sharing an anecdote about her second son, who had a particularly difficult time going through puberty. Kim Ji-sun says, “One day, my second son wrote ‘I want to die’ on the wall. She recalls the difficult situation at the time, saying, “I was really upset when he said he wouldn’t go to school.” She then says, “My husband behaved well at that time. He listened to everything my son said and comforted him. Parents have no choice but to trust and wait,” and conveys the moment when she was touched by her husband’s wise parenting style.
The recent news that her second son, who used to be like that, has now transformed into the rapper “SIVAA” is also revealed. Kim Ji-sun continues to brag about her son, saying, “The music video has 8 million views. I gave him my first song revenue as a gift. My first son (who couldn’t help but feel defeated) gave me some pocket money after seeing this,” creating a warm atmosphere.
Jo Hye-ryun also continues the sympathetic talk by revealing a story about how she was touched by her son. She says, “My son had a hard time going through puberty until he was 18. Then, Woo-joo went to college and one day, he was asked to give a lecture at a school club meeting. During the lecture, Woo-joo (who was sitting in the audience) looked at me with eyes of respect,” and after the lecture, he said, “Mom, you were so cool,” and she recalled the touching moment with tears in her eyes.
Kim Hyo-jin draws attention by revealing the story of giving birth to her youngest daughter at the age of 44. “It was an unplanned natural pregnancy. They said the chance is 1-2%. When I gave birth to my second child, I had a large uterine fibroid that was blocking the birth canal. It became a critical situation, so I had an emergency cesarean section to give birth to the baby. Luckily, I was able to have the fibroid removed along with the cesarean section. I showed my filial piety by giving birth to my daughter,” she said, surprising her close friends by sharing her eventful birth story. Here, Byun Ki-soo asked a hot question that only best friends can ask, “Are you still doing this in your mid-40s?” and made the set burst into laughter, according to the story.
A time to look into a part of a star’s life with best friends, Channel A‘s ‘Best Friend Documentary - Table for 4’ airs every Monday at 8:10 PM.
