Rookie actor Lee Jong-hyun will be appearing in the TVING original ‘Study Group’ (directed by Lee Jang-hoon and Yoo Beom-sang, written by Eom Seon-ho and Oh Bo-hyun).

‘Study Group’ is a comic high school action drama about Yoon Ga-min (played by Hwang Min-hyun), who wants to study hard but is only good at fighting, forming a ‘Study Group’ while taking on the bloody college entrance exams at the worst school in the country. It is based on the popular webtoon of the same name.

Lee Jong-hyun plays Kim Se-hyun, the second-ranking student at Yuseong Technical High School. Kim Se-hyun is the first member of the study group and forms the group with Yoon Ga-min. Although he is blunt, he has a ‘Tsundere charm’ (a charm that is indifferent but secretly takes care of the other person), and he will portray chemistry (chemistry abbreviated as) between the study group members and real friends.

The previously released ‘Study Group’ teaser video and the main trailer released on the 13th have raised expectations for the drama. The intense college entrance exam story of the study group and the addition of splendid action scenes have raised curiosity about what will happen at Yuseong Technical High School.

‘Study Group’ is Lee Jong-hyun‘s debut work from Gold Medalist. Before showing his face to the public for the first time, Lee Jong-hyun said through his agency, “‘Study Group’ is my beginning and a work that I will never forget, and I am happy to have met you as my debut work.
