Singer Lee Sang-soon is receiving full support from his wife and singer Lee Hyo-ri as he embarks on a new career as a radio DJ.

At a press conference held on the afternoon of the 13th at the M Lounge on the 2nd floor of the MBC building in Sangam-gu, Seoul, Lee Sang-soon began by saying, “Last year, when DJ Bae Chul-soo went on vacation, I did a special DJing, and my wife said, ‘That’s so great. If you get the chance, I hope you become a DJ. ‘”

He continued, “My wife is so happy that I get to DJ like this,” and added, “On the other hand, my wife feels burdened because I have to go out every day. I think she feels burdened because she has to cook at home while I DJ, but she still really likes it.”

MBC FM4U’s ‘Perfect Day, This is Lee Sang-soon’, hosted by Lee Sang-soon, airs from 4 PM to 6 PM every day. It features easy-to-listen-to music and light, warm stories about everyday life.

Lee Sang-soon added, “I‘ve been a DJ since November of last year, so I go to work at MBC every day. Unlike living in Jeju Island, I really enjoy the fact that I have to go out every day for work in Seoul.”
