Taxi that ran endlessly while holding onto its passenger… CCTV shows ‘Horrible’ (Hanbli)
‘Hanbli’ mentions a heart-pounding accident that occurred while riding a taxi.
On the 14th at 8:50 PM, the South Korea Zero Traffic Accident Challenge JTBC ‘Han Moon-chul‘s Black Box Review’ (hereafter ‘Hanbli’) will reveal a very dangerous accident that occurred while attempting to ride a taxi.
In the revealed CCTV, a man discovers a taxi with an ‘Empty’ sign on his way home late at night and attempts to get in. However, the moment the man grabs the handle, the taxi starts driving, dragging the man along, creating a heart-pounding situation.
The ‘Hanbli’ production team hears about the situation at the time of the accident from the victim. The victim reveals that the moment he grabbed the handle on the back seat of the taxi that had been stopped, the taxi suddenly started. He said that while his hand was caught in the handle and he was being dragged, he knocked on the window with the other hand, but the taxi did not stop, and he eventually fell over, sustaining injuries all over his body.
The panelists question the intentions of the taxi driver who fled the scene after the accident. Lee Soo-geun expresses his doubts, saying, “There’s no way the taxi driver didn‘t know since he knocked on the window,” and attorney Han Moon-chul agrees, saying, “If he knew and started off, he could potentially be charged with hit-and-run.”
In addition, ‘Hanbli’ introduces a new accident that is likely to occur in the future. The released CCTV footage captures a scene where a vehicle making a right turn collides with an outdoor mobile robot that was crossing the road. In the studio, a heated debate ensues over whether the traffic accident involving the outdoor mobile robot is a ‘car-to-car accident’ or a ‘car-to-pedestrian accident’.
JTBC’s traffic public interest variety show ‘Han Moon-chul‘s Black Box Review’ will air today (the 14th) at 8:50 p.m.
