Singer Hwang Ga-ram shared her recent activities following her huge success with ‘I am a Firefly’.
Hwang Ga-ram appeared on MBC Standard FM‘s ‘This is Yang Hee-eun and Kim Il-joong from Women’s Generation’, which aired at 9:05 AM on the 14th.
On that day, Hwang Ga-ram said, “ My song is played a lot on the streets, but no one knows my face yet”, and she happily laughed as she said, “My song was playing at a butcher shop, so I went in and bought some meat. When I told them it was my song, they gave me more meat”.
Hwang Ga-ram then performed a live stage for ‘I am a Firefly’. She surprised everyone with her signature husky voice, deep emotions, and perfect singing ability. Harim couldn‘t hold back his admiration, saying, “It’s heavy,” and the listeners also showered him with praise through real-time chat.
After finishing the stage, Hwang Ga-ram said, “Thank you. This song is so similar to my situation, so I sang it a lot.” “In the past, I came to Seoul to pursue music and even lived on the streets. Two years ago, the CEO of my agency saw my busking video and asked me to sign with him,” he said, recalling the past.
Hwang Ga-ram said, “I asked the CEO if he was crazy, and he said he was sure, so I cried,” and expressed his gratitude to the CEO of his agency.
Hwang Ga-ram has recently been active on various radio shows, including MBC‘s “What Do You Do When You Play?”
