tvN STORY‘s Trot Singer Challenge, ‘Handsome Trot’, has revealed its lineup of 12 male stars.

‘Handsome Trot’, which will be aired for the first time in February, is a music variety show where 12 representative male stars in the entertainment industry will sincerely challenge trot. It will meet viewers with a differentiated format and new picture from existing trot variety shows by showing 12 unexpected people challenging the trot genre.

Among them, the lineup of 12 male stars that has raised the most curiosity has finally been unveiled. First, legendary martial arts star Choo Sung Hoon has thrown his hat into the ring for ‘Handsome Trot’, raising expectations. Known for his appealing singing ability, attention is focused on whether his sincerity towards trot will be able to reach viewers. Jang Hyuk, who has steadily built up his filmography over the past 28 years since his debut, is expected to show off his unexpected charm through his first trot song. In addition to his acting career, he has also worked as a rapper TJ in the past, so there is even more interest in his new genre challenge.


Actors Choi Dae-chul, who is active not only in dramas and movies but also on the musical stage, In Kyo-jin, who is following in his father’s footsteps and challenging trot, and actor Ji Seung-hyun, who recently became a topic of conversation for his realistic villain acting in a popular work, are also joining the cast. The second teaser released this time shows the 12 male stars appearing on stage in gorgeous tuxedos. With an unexpected lineup of 12 members, including Choo Sung Hoon, Jang Hyuk, Choi Dae Chul, In Kyo Jin, Ji Seung Hyun, Jung Gyeo Woon, Tae Hang Ho, Hyun Woo, Kim Dong Ho, Lee Tae Ri, Kim Jun Ho, and Han Jeong Wan, each of them conveys their sincerity towards trot, raising expectations for the birth of a unique trot entertainment show that has never been seen before.

In the teaser video, the 12 stars also revealed their extraordinary aspirations and determination towards ‘Handsome Trot’. Kim Jun-ho and Kim Dong-ho each said, “I love trot, I don’t think anyone can follow me,” and “I think I’ve always admired the trot genre,” and Ji Seung-hyun’s story, which foreshadows another twist following the drama by saying, “I think trot is my destiny,” is also drawing attention.

“Handsome Trot” targets viewers with a differentiated trot entertainment program that has never been seen before, from the new beginnings of handsome stars to the stage of dreams and passion. Jang Min-ho and Lee Chan-won, who represent Korean trot, have already confirmed their participation as mentors and producers.
