Cha Woo-min predicted a fiery showdown with Hwang Min-hyun.

The production team of Tving Original ‘Study Group’ (directed by Lee Jang-hoon and Yoo Beom-sang, written by Eom Sun-ho and Oh Bo-hyun), which will be released on the 23rd, released a still cut of Pi Han-ul (played by Cha Woo-min) that creates a dark atmosphere on the 14th. In addition, the strong presence of Kim Soon-chul (played by Joo Yeon-woo) and Park Gun-yeop (played by Hong Min-ki) adds to the curiosity.

‘Study Group’ is a comical high school action film about Yoon Ga-min (played by Hwang Min-hyun), who wants to be good at studying but is only good at fighting, forming a ‘Study Group’ while participating in a bloody entrance exam at the worst school. The thrilling and impactful action added to the story of growth of Yoon Ga-min, a ‘hidden strength’ (a loner who hides his strength) who chose to fight to study, and the students who each have their own stories and try to protect their study group will provide catharsis. It is based on a popular webtoon of the same name.




In the previously released main teaser video, Pi Han-ul keeping a close eye on Yoon Ga-min heightened the tension, and the photo released today stimulates curiosity about Pi Han-ul. First, Pi Han-ul‘s breathtaking charisma as he climbs up on the stage and looks down at everyone catches the eye. Unlike his neat school uniform, his cold eyes give a glimpse of Pi Han-ul’s strength, who is at the top of the Yooseong High School hierarchy. The intense gaze of Kim Soon-chul, the bodyguard protecting Pihanul, and the sharp aura of Park Gun-yeop, the mysterious figure hovering around Pihanul and Yoon Ga-min, are also exciting. Attention is being paid to what kind of story the three will draw with Yoon Ga-min.

Pihanul is a character who reigns over the solid order of Yooseong High School. Cha Woo-min said, “The flashy action caught my eye and I enjoyed watching the original. I will give viewers more enjoyment with the flashy action than existing school dramas,” raising expectations for a fiery action showdown with Hwang Min-hyun. Regarding the character of ‘Pihanul, he explained, “Rather than empathizing with others, he is a character who deals with people who get in the way of moving forward. Pihanul’s main focus is on cruelty when trying to achieve his goal.”

‘Study Group’ will be exclusively released on Tving on the 23rd.
