Actor Kang Hoon will be appearing in the mid-form drama ‘The Hunter with a Scalpel’ (written by Jo Han-young, Park Hyun-shin, Hong Yeon-yi, and Jin Se-hyuk, directed by Lee Jung-hoon) from LG U+‘s content studio STUDIO X+U.

‘The Hunter with a Scalpel’ is a crime psychological thriller that tells the story of Se-hyeon, a genius forensic scientist, who discovers traces of his father’s murder while performing an autopsy and goes on a hunt to catch his father before the police in order to hide his past that he wants to erase.

Kang Hoon plays the role of Jeong Jeong-hyeon, the leader of the violent crimes unit, who becomes entangled with Se-hyeon while investigating a murder case. The psychological changes of Jeong-hyeon, who believes that human nature is good, will be captured with Kang Hoon‘s unique charm.

Kang Hoon garnered attention for his unique charm in the drama ‘To My Harry’, which ended last September, playing the character of announcer Kang Joo-yeon, who lived while keeping her distance from love.

‘The Hunter with a Scalpel’, starring Kang Hoon, Park Joo-hyun, and Park Yong-woo, will be released on U+tv and U+mobiletv in 2025.
