In Kyo-jin delivered the bad news to Seo Young-hee.

In episode 9 of KBS 2TV‘s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Suspicious Partner’ (directed by Park Yong-soon/ written by Heo Seung-min/ produced by Studio V Plus, Idea Factory, High Ground, and Yein Plus) that aired on the 15th, Ban Ji-sook (Seo Young-hee) heard shocking news from Choi Min-seok (played by In Kyo-jin).

In that day’s broadcast, Daniel Han (played by Jin-young) told Kim Ae-shim (played by Cha Hwa-yeon) that he would also leave the company with Oh Du-ri (played by Jung Ji-so). Daniel left with Doo-ri, leaving Ae-shim astonished. He hugged Doo-ri and said, “Don‘t worry about other things and just focus on what you’re doing like you were doing,”, causing excitement in the living room theater.

Ae-shim called Doo-ri out, who was in the middle of practicing. She said, “Your musty past shouldn‘t stop Emily from having a bright future,” and expressed her intention to reconcile to Doori. Doori also smiled brightly and seemed to accept Ae-shim’s apology, but after greeting her and turning around, she made a cold expression. Doori recalled the past when Ae-shim looked confident and calm as if nothing had happened, leaving her with a wronged face. The tension was heightened by suggesting that their relationship would not end with a simple reconciliation.



Ahead of filming their collaboration video, Doori and Hana had a tense war of nerves over which singer‘s song to choose. Choi Hana (Chae Won-bin), who found a CD by the group Taesaja in her mother’s drawer three years ago, told Doori that her mother, Ji-sook, liked Taesaja. When Doo-ri heard this story, she felt bitter, recalling the past when she was angry at Ji-sook for listening to Taesaja‘s song.

Daniel decided to film with Taesaja at Hana and Doo-ri’s request. He told Doo-ri, “Hana, make sure to bring your mother. She‘ll be able to see her favorite brothers and see how well her daughter is doing,” and showed consideration for her.

On the other hand, Ae-shim was surprised when Daniel’s stalker, Yu Ji-an (played by Woo Do-im), came to visit her. Ae-shim consistently treated her coldly, and Ji-an showed her hostility toward Doo-ri, saying, “I want to get rid of her. Stay as far away from my brother as possible.” Ae-shim‘s eyes wavered for a moment at Ji-an’s suggestion, and viewers were angry at her attitude.

Doo-ri and Hana practiced to the newly arranged Taesaja song. Hana practiced harder than ever to gain her mother‘s approval, which made viewers happy. Ji-sook, who had been lukewarm until the end, eventually visited the filming set to see her daughter’s stage, and Doo-ri and Ji-sook were delighted to see her.

At the end of the broadcast, Min-seok called Ji-sook with a trembling voice and said, “Ji-sook, don‘t be surprised and listen.” Ji-sook couldn’t hide her shock after hearing the sudden news. As the phone call between the two heightened the anxiety of the drama, expectations for the next episode are rising as to what happened to Ji-sook and what Min-seok said to Ji-sook.
