‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers!’ has released a comprehensive trailer video that gives a glimpse into Uhm Ji-won‘s eventful life story.

The new KBS 2TV weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers!’ (directed by Choi Sang-yeol / written by Koo Hyun-sook), scheduled to premiere on Saturday, February 1 at 8 p.m., is a drama that depicts a mature family story created by the five unique brothers of the Eagle Brewery, a brewery with a long history, and the eldest sister-in-law who suddenly becomes the head of the household after her husband’s sudden death just ten days after her wedding.

The released comprehensive trailer video begins with the happy appearance of Ma Kwang-sook (played by Uhm Ji-won) showing off her dazzling appearance in a wedding dress. However, Gwang-sook‘s mother, Gong Joo-sil (played by Park Joon-geum), gets angry and says, “My daughter, Ma Gwang-sook, is said to be the ghost of this house,” and the contrasting attitudes of the two raise curiosity about the drama.

Gwang-sook, who had been dreaming of a happy newlywed life, faces a great ordeal when her husband Oh Jang-soo (played by Lee Pil-mo) gets into a car accident just 10 days after getting married. Gwang-sook’s words as she bids her husband farewell, “It was a short time, but he was the best husband I‘ve ever had,” clearly show her deep affection for Jang-soo.

Gwang-sook then makes an unconventional move by saying she will quit the post office and take over the Eagle Brewing Company. She also says, “Let’s just call him my younger sibling, okay?” and acts as the strong head of the five brothers, making people curious about Ma Gwang-sook‘s journey to becoming a brewer. In addition, when Gwang-sook stands in front of Oh Beom-soo (played by Yoon Park) who is in a difficult situation because of the debt collectors swarming around him, she boldly says, “I’ll give you that money!” and takes responsibility for her younger siblings’ worries and concerns, giving the viewers a refreshing feeling.

On the other hand, Han Dong-seok (played by Ahn Jae-wook) shows an unusual connection by holding onto Gwang-sook who is staggering. In particular, the scene where he says, “You’re doing all sorts of things,” while looking at her, who is drunk and sprawled out on the lawn, foreshadows the meeting of the two who have been at odds from the beginning, and raises expectations for the delightful chemistry they will display.

Like this, ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers!’ is a thrilling story about Gwang-sook, who lost her husband not long after getting married, and her sisters-in-law with different stories, as well as the polar opposite personalities of Gwang-sook and Dong-seok, which is expected to bring laughter and even emotion to living rooms.

KBS 2TV‘s new weekend drama ‘Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers!’ will be the sequel to ‘Iron Family’, and will be aired for the first time on Saturday, February 1 at 8 PM.
