Netflix drama ‘Hunting Dogs’ is returning with season 2.
On the 16th, Netflix announced the production of season 2, stating that director Kim Joo-hwan, who created ‘Midnight Runners’, ‘Martial Arts Officer’, will return to direct the series following season 1.
‘Hunting Dogs’ depicts the process in which Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) catch a vicious gang of illegal loan sharks and implement justice against the global illegal boxing league.
This time, singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) is drawing attention by appearing as a villain.
He plays the role of Baek Jeong, the villain who drags Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi into the illegal boxing league.
The production company stated, “Baekjeong is a character with overwhelming power that can even crush a world boxing champion, and he will do anything to drag promising boxer Gunwoo into the dark league.” They added, “Please look forward to Jung Ji-hoon‘s transformation into a villain for the first time in 20 years since his debut.”
