Amid the controversy over the leak of a ‘four-cut kiss’ photo of actors Moon Ga-young and Choi Hyun-wook, the production team of the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama ‘That Guy is a Black Flame Dragon’ (directed by Lee Soo-hyun, written by Kim Soo-yeon) has released a character still cut of Ban Joo-yeon (played by Choi Hyun-wook).

‘That Guy is a Black Flame Dragon’ is a romance story about the ‘head killer’ team leader Baek Soo-jung, who suffers from a dark past, and the ‘third-generation chaebol’ head Ban Joo-yeon who holds a black flame dragon in her heart. It is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. Moon Ga-young, Choi Hyun-wook, Im Se-mi, and Kwak Si-yang star.

In the drama, Ban Joo-yeon, played by Choi Hyun-wook, is a third-generation chaebol and the head of the strategic planning division of Yongseong Department Store. He is a perfectionist. In order to be recognized as the successor to the conglomerate, he keeps his ‘geek self’, ‘Black Flame Dragon’, a secret. However, his peaceful office life will not be smooth sailing when his secret private life, which he has been hiding from Baek Soo-jung (played by Moon Ga-young), is discovered.

In the photos released by the production team, Ban Joo-yeon seems to pursue a perfectionism. She seems to be a person who separates work and private life, is faithful to her main job, and is deeply immersed in her hobbies. However, attention is focused on what kind of emotional changes she will experience from the moment Baek Soo-jung finds out about this.

The production team said, “Choi Hyun-wook, who has portrayed the image of a shining youth in vN, will return with an office romance this time. Choi Hyun-wook will perfectly pull off the unexpected charm of the ‘Ban Joo-yeon’ character by fully embodying the charm of ‘Black Flame Dragon’ as well as the role of a charismatic headquarters manager.”


In the meantime, a photo of Moon Ga-young and Choi Hyun-wook kissing was leaked online, becoming a hot topic. It is unknown whether it was for filming or to show suspicions of a romantic relationship, but the production team said that the photo was taken for filming and was leaked. The production team of ‘Heukyeonryong’ said to Donga.com, “We are sorry that the ‘four-cut’ photo of the two actors was leaked unintentionally. We hope that you will look forward to the chemistry the two actors will show in the drama.”

However, there are also suspicions that this was an intentional leak. This is interpreted as an attempt to attract attention through leaks.
