‘Good or Bad Dongjae’ Lee Joon-hyuk shared his thoughts on becoming the main character of a spin-off drama.

On the afternoon of the 8th, a production conference for the TVING original series ‘Good or Bad Dongjae’ was held at Yongsan I-Park Mall CGV in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Actors Lee Joon-hyuk, Park Sung-woong, and director Park Gun-ho attended the conference that day.

On that day, Lee Joon-hyuk talked about becoming the main character of the ‘Secret Forest’ spin-off, saying, “Originally, when I first heard about the spin-off, I felt a lot of pressure. I thought, ‘Would I be able to do it again?’ But I think the character of Dong-jae came this far without any intention, thanks to the fans‘ reactions.“

He continued, “When the article first came out, there were a lot of favorable responses. That’s why I thought it would be okay to appear again. When I thought about what I could do to show something new, I thought about showing a different side of myself from ‘Secret Forest’. I caught attention by comparing ‘Secret Forest’ to fine dining, and ‘Good or Bad Dongjae’ to dessert.

Meanwhile, ‘Good or Bad Dongjae’ is a spin-off of ‘Secret Forest’, and it is a story about the passionate survival of prosecutor Seo Dongjae (played by Lee Joon-hyuk), who wants to escape his past as a sponsored prosecutor and be recognized in the present.

Seo Dongjae, who has returned alive from hell, and the never-ending mud fight with Lee Hong Construction CEO Nam Wan-seong (played by Park Sung-woong), who brings up mistakes he wants to forget, are expected to provide thrilling fun.
