‘The Judge from Hell’ Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young‘s harmonious behind-the-scenes cuts have been revealed.
SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Judge from Hell’ (written by Jo Yi-soo/directed by Park Jin-pyo and Jo Eun-ji/produced by Studio S) is rising in viewership ratings at an incredible rate.
Episode 6, which aired on the 5th, broke its own record by recording 13.1% nationwide and 13.5% in the metropolitan area according to Nielsen Korea. This is equivalent to #1 in all channels in the same time slot and #1 in all mini-series channels. The highest viewership rating at the time soared to a whopping 16.1%.
The fresh story of a demon in a judge‘s body separating human trash who deserve to die, the thrilling and refreshing cider presented by the evil but lovable anti-hero Kang Bit-na (played by Park Shin-hye), the unique charm of Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young) who goes back and forth between gentleness and sharpness, the feast of three-dimensional characters, and the ‘crazy relationship’ between the male and female leads who go back and forth between loveliness and fatality are cited as factors in the increased viewership ratings.
What we absolutely cannot leave out here is the fantastic acting chemistry and acting between the two leads Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young. The two actors, who not only digested various action scenes in the drama but also captured the dynamic relationship between the two characters, are said to have always consulted and been considerate of each other on set to complete the best scenes. The behind-the-scenes cuts that reveal the secret behind the two actors’ strong teamwork were released on October 9, drawing attention.
The released photos contain various appearances of Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young captured on the set of ‘The Judge from Hell’. Park Shin-hye showing a playful expression toward the camera, Kim Jae-young smiling like sunshine toward Park Shin-hye, and even making a cute V pose for the camera together or squatting down next to each other to rest when filming stopped for a moment. Just looking at them, you can feel the strong teamwork and chemistry between the two actors.
Regarding this, the production crew of ‘The Judge from Hell’ said, “Actors Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young not only immersed themselves in the work and their characters and gave great acting, but they also always filled the set with bright energy. Thanks to the consideration and passion of the two actors, the production crew and other actors were able to work even harder. Thanks to that, the filming set of ‘Judge from Hell’ was always filled with laughter. I would like to express my gratitude to the two actors.”
