Park Ha-na‘s contract worker suffering continues.

On the 3rd episode of KBS1’s daily drama ‘Let‘s Get Married, Frog!’ (directed by Kim Sung-geun / written by Song Jung-rim) aired on the 9th, the story of Maeng Gong-hee’s (played by Park Ha-na) family struggling to survive in their respective positions unfolded.

In the broadcast that day, the daily life of contract worker designer Gong-hee, who goes through all kinds of hardships while preparing for a photo shoot, stimulated real empathy. He offered his opinion on the design next to team leader Kang Ji-na (played by Lee Yeon-doo) who was preparing for the shoot, but was ignored by Ji-na.

He returned to the site with a bunch of clothes from the store as Ji-na requested, but Gong-hee‘s ordeal did not end there. Gong-hee’s access card, as a contract worker and not a full-time employee, was not registered. Because of this, Gong-hee, who had to walk up to the 17th floor where the studio was, had to really feel the sorrow of being a non-regular worker.

Gong-hee‘s mother Kang Myung-ja (played by Yang Mi-kyung)’s daily life was not smooth either. When she found out that her son Maeng Gong-bu (played by Lee Eun-hyung) had sold the apartment he lived in and was living a miserable life in the hospital, she had to grab the back of his neck. In the end, Myeong-ja decided to invite Gong-bu into her home, and it made me wonder how the chemistry between this mother and son would unfold in the future.

The first meeting that signaled the beginning of Gong-bu‘s dislike for Eom Hong-dan (played by Park Tam-hee) was also depicted. The two, who met as an obstetrician and gynecologist and patient, experienced miscommunication from the beginning as they continued their conversation, and Hong-dan became extremely angry when she heard about early menopause and stood up. Hong Dan attacked Gong Gong, calling him a quack, and Gong Gong retorted, “Where on earth did you get a brat to cause trouble in someone else’s hospital?” Their bickering from the start was enough to induce laughter.

On the other hand, Gu Dan Soo (Park Sang Nam) embarrassed his grandmother Hwang Ik Seon (Yang Hee Kyung) by saying that he had looked for a house to live in on his own. In response, Chairman Hwang Ik Seon (Yang Hee Kyung) countered by saying that she had cut off his credit card and had even arranged for the seat. The confrontation between the two without giving an inch made the drama even more interesting.

At the end of the broadcast, the touching moment of Im Soon Yi (Ban Hyo Jung) coming up to Seoul from the countryside to see her daughter Myeong Ja moved the viewers. Soon Yi, who had been quietly listening to Myeong Ja and Gong Gong‘s conversation about selling their apartment in the middle of the night, quietly left the next morning, leaving behind an old gold ring that she had and a wad of bills wrapped in a rubber band. The heartwarming story of a mother and daughter who take care of each other’s hearts without having to say anything left a deep impression.

‘Let‘s Get Married, Frog!’ Episode 4 will air today (the 10th) at 8:30 PM.
