Lee Soon-jae and Sophie show off their fantastic teamwork and once again find the real culprit.

In the 6th episode of KBS2‘s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Bullshit’ (written by Byun Sook-kyung/directed by Kim Yoo-jin) aired on the 10th, Lee Soon-jae, who understands ‘bullshit’, showed even more fantastic teamwork with Sophie and solved the case wonderfully, which was thrilling. The viewership ratings for Episode 6 recorded 4.6% (based on nationwide households, provided by Nielsen Korea), recording its highest viewership rating and starting to rise in earnest.

Earlier, Yang Won-hee (played by Hwang Jung-min), a haenyeo from Geojedo Island, conspired with her adopted daughter Hong Ji-soo (played by Jeong Bo-min) to fake suicide in order to avoid leaving her inheritance to her biological children. However, Yang Won-hee, who pretended to jump into the sea and hid herself from others, was found murdered in her hideout, and the situation took on a meaningful meaning when Song Ok-sook, who was passing by, became the first witness.

On that day’s broadcast, Lee Soon-jae and Sophie‘s great performance was shown as they pieced together the puzzle of the case one by one based on various clues and testimonies. While Hong Ji-soo, Yang Won-hee’s adopted daughter, is suspected by the police, Lee Soon-jae, who recalls the affectionate mother and daughter usually had, begins the investigation with the conviction that there must be another real culprit. The scene where Sophie the Cat hires a dog that understands cat language to interpret the eyewitness accounts from the day of the incident brought smiles to the viewers and provided small bits of fun even in the tense atmosphere.

Lee Soon-jae heard a crucial clue that the culprit who ran away from the scene of the incident on the day of the incident was a woman with a cat allergy, but he was frustrated because he couldn‘t tell the police about this, and while the investigation was in progress, the ’Sophie kidnapping incident‘ suddenly occurred, causing shock. Sophie lost consciousness after getting a snack from a passerby and woke up trapped in an unfamiliar house. It was the home of the ‘fraud sibling gang’ Yoon Ha-neul (played by Baek Jin-wook) and Yoon No-ran (played by Lee Ah-in), who kidnapped pets and returned them to their original owners in exchange for a reward. Sophie, who desperately escaped, immediately ran to Lee Soon-jae and told him the truth, and the two siblings were arrested at the scene.

The plot twist unfolded as the strange connection between the sibling gang that provoked anger with their despicable acts and the murder of female diver Yang Won-hee was revealed. Police officer Hong Cho-won (played by Yeonwoo), who contributed to the arrest of the fraud gang with Lee Soon-jae’s help, tipped him off that the culprit who kidnapped Sophie was a beautician at a veterinary hospital. Then, Song Ok-sook, who was taking medicine for a severe cat allergy, recalled a time when she had previously visited an animal hospital and bumped into the groomer, causing the items in her bag to get mixed up. When she saw her bag of medicine that had been switched with his, she dropped a crucial hint, saying, “The cat groomer must have had a cat allergy.”

Lee Soon-jae, who connected the keywords “animal hospital groomer” and “cat allergy,” was able to deduce the identity of the real culprit and even the motive for the crime. When a rumor spread through the neighborhood that female diver Yang Won-hee was leaving a huge inheritance to her pet cat Mong-dol instead of her biological children, Yoon No-ran, who was a reward hunter, approached Mong-dol and got into a fight, resulting in Yang Won-hee’s death.

However, in a situation where it was impossible to determine the culprit based on circumstantial evidence alone, crucial evidence was needed, and Hong Cho-won, with Sophie’s help, succeeded in finding Yoon No-ran’s earring at the scene of the crime. Yoon No-ran, who was being investigated for fraud, also readily admitted to murder, revealing the absurd truth behind the entangled case. The scene where Hong Ji-soo, the adopted daughter who was finally cleared of her false charges, sheds tears over the loss of her mother brought tears to the viewers‘ eyes, and the fact that the biological children of Yang Won-hee, who had been committing unfilial acts, ended up not inheriting any of the vast fortune was also revealed, bringing catharsis.

As the story unfolds with such tension, the various episodes of the characters and the appearance of familiar faces also add to the fun. Actor Son Byung-ho made a special appearance as Park Geun-soo, a former colleague of the Senior Five, and made everyone laugh by putting off paying for meals to Kim Yong-gun after acting all colorful as a successful businessman. Actor Woo Hyun took on the role of ophthalmologist Lee Young Soo, and created a heart-fluttering love line with Ye Soo Jung, but was cruelly rejected by her after her vision became clearer after cataract surgery, causing an explosion of laughter.

Episode 7 of ‘Doggy Dog’ will air on the 16th (Wednesday) at 9:50 PM.
