Actor Park Jae-chan won the ‘Hot Icon’ at the ‘2024 Korea Drama Awards’.

Park Jae-chan won the Hot Icon Award at the ‘2024 Korea Drama Awards’ held at the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater in Jinju-si, Gyeongsangnam-do on the 12th. The Hot Icon Award is given to an actor who has emerged as a next-generation icon by promoting the Korean Wave around the world.

On that day, Park Jae-chan went up on stage and said, “Thanks to my fans, I was able to receive the award in such an honorable place. I will continue to work hard to make you all happier in the future.” Park Jae-chan concluded his remarks by saying, “I’m currently filming a drama called ‘Check In Hanyang.’ Please show lots of interest and anticipation.”

Park Jae-chan, who debuted as a member of the group DKZ in 2019, has established himself as an all-round entertainer through his activities in the group and solo albums, as well as in dramas, variety shows, radio, and commercials. In particular, he made his drama debut in May of this year with the MBC drama ‘Our Home,’ and then in June, he impressed viewers with his stable acting in the JTBC drama ‘The Woman Who Plays With Us.’

Meanwhile, Park Jae-chan will be appearing as the lead role Go Soo-ra in the Channel A drama ‘Check In Hanyang,’ which is scheduled to air for the first time in December. Park Jae-chan will play the role of a MZ youth from Hanyang who cannot tolerate injustice.
