‘Steel Troop W’ 707 and the Special Forces face off in the first mission where the survival of the unit is at stake, and 707 Park Bo-ram and Special Forces Yang Hae-joo meet as enemies who were once disciples.
On the 15th (Tuesday), the 3rd episode of Channel A‘s ‘Steel Troop W’ will show the scene where 707 and the Special Forces enter into a showdown for their pride in the main mission ‘Mobile Strike Operation’ where the first eliminated unit occurs.
On that day, ‘Studio MC Corps’ Kim Seong-joo expressed his ‘pounding’ anticipation for the showdown between 707, a strong candidate to win, and the Special Forces, saying, “It’s a showdown between family units.” ‘Sniper fanatic’ Kim Hee-chul says, “The most important thing is that we can finally see the duel between the shooter and assistant shooter”, and he picks the ‘shooting duel’ between 707 Park Bo-ram and Special Forces soldier Yang Hae-ju as the biggest point to watch. To this, Kim Dong-hyun cautiously predicts, “Usually in a match between the new and the old, the new usually wins. I guess it gets better as you get older, after all”. At this, Kim Sung-joo and Kim Hee-chul get angry and say, “What are you talking about!”, making Kim Dong-hyun ‘shocked.’.
Amidst the MCs‘ tight predictions, the actual mission scene is finally revealed. At the end of the second episode, 707 and the Special Forces had mixed feelings about the speed of their ‘cage opening’ in the ‘container section’, but while 707 was able to open the cage in just three attempts with Team Leader Kang Eun-mi’s brilliant wit, the Special Forces were cornered by the cage that would not budge. On this day, 707‘s Park Bo-ram runs to the firing point alone, carrying her military gear according to a strategy they had planned in advance, while Kang Eun-mi, Lee Hyun-sun, and Jeon Min-sun quickly advance while ‘shoulder carrying’ 80kg of supplies. In particular, Kang Eun-mi shows her sacrificial spirit as a team leader by carrying the supplies from the front alone. Upon seeing this, the MC corps said, “That’s really difficult... ” and makes a pitiful expression.
At the same time, Team Leader Kim Ji-eun suddenly lets out a ‘gora roar’ in the midst of a crisis, then lifts up 80kg of supplies while wearing her military gear, exploding with crazy venom. She took charge of the military gear alone out of a sense of responsibility as a team leader and confidence in her physical strength. While the four special forces soldiers ‘hand carry’ and chase 707, Kang Eun-mi, who was going ahead, suddenly shouts “No, we can‘t go!” and then “Don’t put down (the supplies)!”. The MC corps falls into shock and chaos at the crisis situation of 707, which had been going well.
Meanwhile, the two units, having completed the 300m ‘death maneuver’, engage in a final shooting duel. Here, Park Bo-ram, the ‘first official female sniper of the Republic of Korea’, and her second-in-command Yang Hae-joo aim their guns at a target in a guard post 80m away in a breathtaking tension. After a while, one of the guard posts bursts into flames with a loud ‘bang’, and the unit that confirmed their victory cheers and hugs each other. Immediately afterwards, the winning unit is overcome with emotion and joy, saying, “I don‘t think I’ll ever forget this feeling”. On the other hand, the losing unit sheds tears of regret and self-reproach, saying, “My pride is so hurt”. Chu and Jang Eun-sil, who are immersed in the situation of both units, both get teary-eyed and feel sad, and above all, they give respectful applause to Kang Eun-mi and Kim Ji-eun, who showed a spirit of sacrifice for the team. The attention is focused on the main mission scene where the first unit to be eliminated will be decided, as it is a battle between family units and a battle between disciples.
The first elimination unit among 707 vs. Special Forces, Marine Corps vs. Special Mission Force, Army vs. Navy will be decided on the mission site and the results, which will be aired on Channel A‘s ‘Steel Troop W’ Episode 3 at 10 p.m. on Tuesday the 15th.
