A head-on approach is the ‘answer’.
Actress Jang Shin-young is gathering attention by head-on tackling her husband Kang Kyung-joon‘s affair controversy.
Jang Shin-young appeared as a special MC on the SBS ‘My Little Old Boy’ that aired on the 13th and apologized for Kang Kyung-joon’s recent controversy and explained the process so far.
When MC Seo Jang-hoon asked, “I think you must have felt pressured because there were so many articles about (Jang Shin-young) appearing on ‘My Little Old Boy’. It must not have been easy to decide to appear, how was it?” Jang Shin-young said, “I was surprised that there were more articles than I thought. I started to think, ‘Is it wrong for me to appear now?’ and I lost my confidence.”
She continued, “I should have shown you a good side of me, but I‘m sorry for showing you a disappointing side of me,” adding, “I’m an actor and a broadcaster, so I came out with courage to show you a comfortable side of myself as a guest and on a show.”
Shin Dong-yup also said, “Many people supported me when I said I would build a stronger family.”
Jang Shin-young said, “I tried to get back to my daily life. I‘m living with my kids and husband as if nothing happened,” and calmly added, “I think a lot of time has passed, and I’m trying to live comfortably thinking about how to build my family in the future.”
When the “incident” happened, I also thought, “What is this?” I looked at my husband, and he looked like he had been stripped naked. It was hard as a wife. She said, “I asked my husband first, ‘I want to hold your hand. Is that okay?’”
Kang Kyung-joon said, “I have no shame and nothing to say. I‘m sorry and I apologize.”
The two dated for five years and got married in 2018. Then, in December of last year, Kang Kyung-joon was sued for 50 million won in damages by a married woman, A, for having an inappropriate relationship. After that, Kang Kyung-joon accepted the other party’s claim and ended the lawsuit.
