‘Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War’ has captivated the world with unconventional missions never seen before in a cooking survival show, and a dynamic survival show that is like watching a sports game or a martial arts novel. Above all, the fierce journey to find the best ‘taste’ of Baek Jong-won, the best restaurant manager and national cooking mentor in Korea, and Chef Ahn Sung-jae of ‘Mosu Seoul’, the only Michelin 3-star chef in Korea, received a lot of love.
It also became an all-kill in Korea. After its release, it swept Korea with a ‘Black and White Chef’ craze for 4 weeks, and according to the TV-integrated survey for the 1st week of October announced by Good Data Corporation Fundex, it ranked first for 3 consecutive weeks among both dramas and non-drama shows. OTT entertainment became the center of attention by taking first place in the September Gallup ‘Korean Favorite Programs’ survey.
