Hwang Sung-jae recalls the difficult times, saying, “This debt was created because of that incident. It’s a taboo in our house.” Meanwhile, it is said that Hwang Sung-jae expressed his respect for Park Hae-mi who overcame adversity.

Hwang Min, Park Hae-mi‘s ex-husband and musical director, caused an accident in 2018 when he crashed into a truck while intoxicated. Two out of the five passengers died in the accident. At the time of the accident, Hwang Min’s blood alcohol level was reportedly 0.104%, which is enough to have his license revoked. Park Hae-mi and Hwang Min divorced in 2019 after 25 years of marriage.
