Park Hae-mi and Hwang Sung-jae confess that they have 1.5 billion won in debt since ‘that incident’ (her ex-husband‘s drunk driving incident).

In episode 3 of MBC every 1’s entertainment show ‘I‘m All Grown Up But I Don’t Go Out’, which will air on the 15th, Park Hae-mi and Hwang Sung-jae reminisce about ‘that incident back then’, which made things difficult for them.

According to the production team, Hwang Sung-jae‘s scene at the end of the last episode where he opens a mysterious delivery box while watching Park Hae-mi’s expression aroused curiosity, and the identity of the delivery is revealed to be a cat tower. Despite Park Hae-mi‘s objections, who is distressed by cat hair, Hwang Sung-jae installs a cat tower in the living room, and Hong Jin-kyung looks genuinely annoyed.

Hwang Sung-jae uses his finishing move to melt the mother’s heart when Park Hae-mi glares at him, saying, “You‘re going crazy, I’m going crazy” at her son‘s behavior, and everyone is surprised to see Park Hae-mi become weak in front of her son.

In particular, on this day, Park Hae-mi reveals that she has 1.5 billion won in (real estate) debt and says that she and Hwang Sung-jae are splitting the money to pay it off.

Hwang Sung-jae recalls the difficult times, saying, “This debt was created because of that incident. It’s a taboo in our house.” Meanwhile, it is said that Hwang Sung-jae expressed his respect for Park Hae-mi who overcame adversity.

Hwang Min, Park Hae-mi‘s ex-husband and musical director, caused an accident in 2018 when he crashed into a truck while intoxicated. Two out of the five passengers died in the accident. At the time of the accident, Hwang Min’s blood alcohol level was reportedly 0.104%, which is enough to have his license revoked. Park Hae-mi and Hwang Min divorced in 2019 after 25 years of marriage.

Meanwhile, ‘We‘re All Grown Up But We Don’t Go Out’ will air at 8:30 PM on Tuesday the 15th.
