Star actors are returning after completing their military service.

Nam Joo-hyuk, Park Jin-young, Ong Seong-wu, and others are returning to the industry one after another after completing their military service. As they boasted high ‘values’ by actively acting up until just before their enlistment, news about their next projects has been coming out one after another even before their discharge. In particular, as they will be enlisting and being discharged around the same time, the ‘shortage phenomenon’ of actors in their early 30s in dramas and movies is expected to be resolved.

Among them, Nam Joo-hyuk will be the first to be discharged and resume his acting career. He, who was discharged from the military police force on the 19th of last month, will appear in the new drama ‘Donggung’. Before enlistment, he proved his acting skills and star quality through ‘Twenty Five, Twenty One’ ‘Vigilante’, and he received many offers for his comeback projects even while he was serving his military service.

His next work, ‘Donggung’, is a fantasy drama that tells the story of a ghost hunter and a palace maid who secretly infiltrate the palace to catch ghosts appearing in it. In the drama, Nam Joo Hyuk plays Goo Cheon, a ghost hunter with the special ability to kill ghosts, and he acts with No Yoon Seo.


Park Jin Young, a member of GOT7 and an actor, has decided on two comeback projects early on before his discharge at the end of October. He is positively discussing appearing in the drama ‘Unknown Seoul’, and will appear in the Channel A drama ‘The Witch’, scheduled to air next year.

He is from an idol group with a solid overseas fandom, and before enlisting, his acting skills were recognized through the ‘Psychometric Guy’ and ‘Yumi‘s Cells’ series, and he has been receiving offers to appear in various genres.

‘Unknown Seoul’ is a romantic drama about twin sisters who are different in everything except their faces and find true love and life through a lie that switches their lives. In the drama, Park Jin-young plays two roles with Park Bo-young.

Another drama, ‘The Witch’, is based on a webtoon of the same name by Kang Full, and tells the story of a man who loves a woman called ‘The Witch’. In the drama, Park Jin-young plays Lee Dong-jin and meets Noh Jung-eui.

Former Wanna One member and actor Ong Seong-wu is also currently discussing his comeback project. Since he was discharged on the 16th and promised his fans active activities, it seems that he will decide on his next project soon.
