Actors Jung Gun-joo and Choi Hee-jin have confirmed their appearances in ‘Turning the Corner: Drama Special 2024’.

Scheduled to air on KBS 2TV at 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, ‘Turning the Corner’ (directed by Lee Hae-woo, written by Seok Yeon-hwa) is a melodrama that depicts the journey of a man from the Road View filming team with a keen eye for direction and a woman who is clueless about where her father is found on Road View.

Jung Gun-joo and Choi Hee-jin will delicately and emotionally portray the story of a man who went through a painful breakup and a woman who is looking for her missing father as they grope their way through the path of separation and enter the alley of love in ‘Turning the Corner’.

Jung Gun-joo plays the role of Won Seo-hoo, who works on the Road View production team. Seo-hoo, who has a keen eye for direction but is awkward at expressing his emotions, is a character who lives by holding onto his departed lover in his heart. After breaking up, while walking down the street absentmindedly, Seo-hoo receives a request from Eun-ha, a pharmacist at the first-floor pharmacy, to identify the face of a man captured on Road View.

Choi Hee-jin plays the role of pharmacist Eun-ha. She grew up with a single father due to heartbreaking circumstances, but she grew up bright and warm. While struggling to find her father who disappeared leaving behind only a letter, Eun-ha discovers a familiar face on Road View. Convinced that the man covered in mosaic is her father, she visits the Road View production company.

Jung Gun-joo, who has been recognized for his stable acting skills through numerous works such as ‘Extraordinary You’, ‘Oh My Baby’, ‘Monthly Home’, ‘Us, Home’, and ‘Strong Woman Kang Nam-soon’, ‘Hip-ha-geo‘D.P. Choi Hee-jin, who has been solidifying her position as an actress by appearing in ‘Season 2’, ‘Royal Loader’, the movie ‘The Girl on the Bulldozer’, ‘The Deal Completed’, ‘The Man Next Door’, etc., is drawing attention to what kind of chemistry she will create through ‘Turning the Corner’.
