‘My Child‘s Private Life’ Sarang and Yuto completed an unforgettable summer in Hong Kong.

The 8th episode of ENA’s Saturday entertainment program ‘My Child‘s Private Life’ (hereafter ‘My Life’) that aired on the 26th showed the last story of Sarang and Yuto, best friends of 11 years, on their trip to Hong Kong and the private life of Guillaume Patry’s 11-month-old daughter Leah. It was a surprising time for both parents and viewers to see the private lives of their children, whom they had considered their own children, for the first time.

First, Leah, the daughter of former pro gamer Guillaume Patry from Canada and his 14-year younger wife Yang Yu-jin, caught everyone‘s attention with her cuteness, just like a real-life ‘Boss Baby’. Although she was only 11 months old on the day of filming, Leah’s appearance easily carrying a 2kg pumpkin and even eating a watermelon as big as her face evoked admiration. Especially, as expected from the daughter of Guillaume Patry, who is famous for being a meat lover, Jang Yoon-jeong couldn‘t hide her surprise when she saw Leah eating lamb ribs and chewing them vigorously, saying, “Instead of a teether, you’re chewing lamb ribs?”

On this day, Leah visited a beauty salon for the first time in her life. There, Leah met an older brother and surprised everyone by actively approaching him while her father wasn‘t looking. Leah’s mother expressed her disappointment as she saw her daughter grabbing her brother‘s hand, saying, “He doesn’t like it when I hold his hand.” Thanks to her older brother who was by her side, Leah enjoyed the entire process from getting her hair cut to shampooing, and successfully completed her first haircut.

When she returned home, Guillaume Patry‘s birthday party was prepared. While Guillaume Patry and his wife were busy grilling meat for the birthday party, Leah walked around by herself. Leah’s mother, who saw this in the studio, said, “I was worried because she didn‘t walk for three months after taking a single step, but I didn’t know she was walking on her own,” expressing her feelings after seeing her daughter take her first steps. Leah showed off her explosive growth as if she was giving her father a birthday present. Jang Yoon-jung said, “I think you‘re the most surprised parents I’ve ever met,” seeing Guillaume Patry and his wife surprised by their child‘s every action.



Then, the last story of Sarang and Yuto’s Hong Kong trip was drawn. First, the children met Choo Sung-hoon, who was visiting Hong Kong for a certain period. For the children who were traveling on a limited budget, Choo Sung-hoon gave them a meal at a Michelin two-star restaurant and a night at a luxury hotel as a gift.

The children gave Choo Sung-hoon a massage to cover the travel expenses. “My grandmother used to run a massage parlor,” said Yuto, showing off his advanced massage skills engraved in his genes, but in return, “I don‘t have any cash,” replied Choo Sung Hoon. Yuto said, “I thought you had money because you were wearing a luxury bracelet,” and Sarang said, “I was shocked that I didn’t get paid for the massage.”

Still, the children enjoyed the services of the luxury hotel they were able to stay at thanks to Choo Sung Hoon until the next day. The “Love You” couple had a happy time, even competing in a swimming competition at the hotel‘s infinity pool. At this time, Yuto surprised everyone with his amazing swimming skills, beating not only Sarang but also Choo Sung Hoon. Sarang used to cry when he lost to Yuto in a running competition when he was young, but this time, he showed that he had grown enough to accept his defeat with a smile.

Sarang and Yuto, who had been traveling alone after parting ways with their father, arrived at a park with the ocean behind them. At that time, Yuto took out the soccer ball he brought from Japan and tried to teach Sarang how to play soccer. Thanks to Yuto who diligently caught the ball no matter how Sarang kicked it, it was a time of endless laughter. However, the ball that Sarang kicked fell into the sea. Yuto burst into tears because of the sudden incident. It turned out that the ball was a precious ball that contained Yuto’s 6 years of memories. Sarang also cried along with Yuto‘s tears and felt sad.

Fortunately, with the help of the park staff, Yuto was able to safely find Yuto’s ball. After the commotion, Sarang apologized to Yuto once again, and Yuto accepted it, saying, “It‘s okay.” In a later interview, Yuto talked about how he felt at the time, saying, “It wasn’t Sarang‘s fault, but I was concerned about Sarang being sorry.”

The last night in Hong Kong came, and the children enjoyed the night view while riding the Ferris wheel. The children shared their thoughts on their trip to Hong Kong in a quiet space for just the two of them. Yuto defined their trip as, “It’s going to be an unforgettable summer.” Yuto then hesitated and said, “I learned some Korean.” The one thing Yuto wanted to tell Sarang was, “You‘re pretty.” Sarang was surprised to hear that unexpected comment and looked at Yuto.

The adults in the studio were also captivated by the dramatic moment. Among them, Sarang’s father, Choo Sung Hoon, said, “If it were me in the past, I‘d kiss you. This is definitely the right time to kiss you,” making everyone burst into laughter with his overly immersive appearance. However, after Yuto’s words, Sarang acted as if nothing had happened and omitted the answer, leaving an even greater lingering impression.

On the day they were going back to Japan, Yuto gave Sarang one last surprise gift at the airport before boarding the plane. The gift was a video that Yuto made with the photos he took during the trip, staying up all night. The first trip of the 11-year-old ‘Love You’ couple, filled with various colors, left a good memory not only for the children but also for the viewers.

Lastly, Sarang and Yuto were asked, “What if you each had a friend of the opposite sex?”. Sarangi smiled shyly and Yuto answered, “People have secrets, so they can‘t tell each other”, which made the viewers’ hearts flutter.
