Actor Jeon Bae-soo will show off a new transformation in KBS2‘s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’.
KBS 2TV’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’ (directed by Jo Rok-hwan/written by Hwang Ye-jin), scheduled to premiere on November 6, is a medical drama about a cool-headed plastic surgeon and a passionate MZ detective from the violent crimes unit chasing the truth behind a crime victim‘s reconstructive plastic surgery.
Jeon Bae-soo plays the role of ‘Kim Seok-hoon’, the head director of KSH Plastic Surgery. Kim Seok-hoon, who always exudes a classy vibe, embraces those around him with his easygoing and free-spirited personality. Here, Jeon Bae-soo’s seasoned acting skills will be added to enrich the drama.
Jeon Bae-soo, who found the script for ‘Face Me’ very interesting, said, “I thought the process of deducing the identity of the unknown criminal until the end was attractive,” explaining why he chose the drama.
He is undergoing another transformation through this drama, and he raised expectations by saying, “I have prepared a flashy costume that I have not shown in my previous acting. I think it is a device that brings out the flavor of the character Kim Seok-hoon.”
Jeon Bae-soo said about his synchronization with the character, “Kim Seok-hoon is flashy, sophisticated, and aims to lead the industry, but he still takes care of his hurt juniors with all his sincerity. I also take good care of my juniors, and my juniors don‘t seem to find me difficult, so I think that’s similar to how I look,” making people watch his activities.
He also opened up about the actors he met through ‘Face Me’. He said, “Actor Lee Min-ki always had a nice appearance and actor Lee Yi-kyung always seemed to be full of energy,” and added, “I was grateful to actor Han Ji-hyun for greeting me with a bright attitude from the first time we met.”
Jeon Bae-soo defined ‘Face Me’ in one word, increasing the desire to watch the show live. He said ‘Face Me’ is refreshing and added, “The collaboration between a plastic surgeon and a detective, as well as the intertwining of a murderer and patients with stories, are interesting,“ raising expectations for the unprecedented story that Jeon Bae-soo will unfold.
‘Face Me’ will premiere on November 6 (Wednesday) at 9:50 PM as the follow-up to ‘Bullshit’.
