Celebrity chef ‘Edward Lee’ will appear on ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’.

Edward Lee, the White House State Dinner chef who won ‘Iron Chef America’ in 2010. He recently became very popular in Korea after taking second place on the Netflix variety show ‘Black-and-White Chef: Culinary Class Wars’ (hereafter ‘Black-and-White Chef’).

Edward Lee, who currently runs a restaurant in the United States, will visit Korea to appear on ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’. Edward Lee, who displayed not only his splendid cooking skills but also his challenging spirit that belies his age in ‘Black and White Chef’, is drawing attention to what kind of dish he will present in ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’.

‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’ began airing in 2014 and brought about the ‘Cookbang (cooking show) syndrome’ in South Korea. The original production team, including PD Lee Chang-woo and writer Kang Yoon-jung, has joined forces and is returning after five years.

PD Lee Chang-woo, who directed ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’, said, “We are exploring various methods, such as trying to change the composition including the cast while preserving the originality of ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’,”and asked for a lot of interest once again for the new ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’.”

The refrigerator social advancement project presented by world-renowned chef Edward Lee, ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’ on JTBC will begin filming in November and air for the first time in December.
