Dramas are pouring out.
Throughout the month of November, various genres such as romantic comedies, thrillers, and action dramas will be broadcast one after another with an average of 1 to 2 episodes per week, giving you the fun of choosing according to your taste.
The reason why dramas starting around the same time are pouring out is because the broadcast schedules were postponed after the 2024 Paris Olympics, and their ending times also overlapped.
Starting with romantic comedies, which are the most popular on home theaters.
Kim Se-jeong and Lee Jong-won will convey their bittersweet charm through ENA‘s ‘Intoxicating Romance’, which will be aired for the first time on the 4th. In this drama set in the liquor industry, Kim Se-jeong plays the legendary salesperson Chae Yong-ju at a liquor company, while Lee Jong-won plays the CEO of a beer brewery, Yoon Min-joo.
Following this, Lee Min-ki and Han Ji-hyun will present a medical drama after a long time. The two will act as a doctor and a detective in KBS 2TV’s ‘Face Me’, which will air from the 6th. It is a medical drama in which a plastic surgeon and a violent crimes unit detective pursue the truth of a case through reconstructive plastic surgery on crime victims. Lee Min-ki plays the top plastic surgeon Cha Jung-woo. Han Ji-hyun plays the violent crimes unit‘s ace detective Lee Min-hyung.
SBS’s ‘The Fiery Priest’ and tvN‘s ‘Parole of Lee Han-shin’, which are grouped under the categories of ‘Tracking’ and ‘Investigation’, are also drawing attention. ‘The Fiery Priest’, starring Kim Nam-gil and Lee Ha-nui, is returning with season 2 after 5 years.
‘The Fiery Priest 2’, which will air on SBS from the 8th, is a joint investigation drama that depicts the story that unfolds as righteous priest Kim Hae-il (Kim Nam-gil) goes to Busan to chase after a drug case. Kim Nam-gil and Lee Ha-nui, who plays a prosecutor, will show off both comedic acting and splendid action acting.
Go Soo and Kwon Yu-ri will play a lawyer who becomes a parole examiner and a detective from the metropolitan investigation unit, respectively, in ‘Parole Lee Han-shin’, which will premiere on the 18th, and set out to punish criminals.
Also waiting for you is Channel A’Marry YOU’, which exudes the charm of ‘pollution-free and clean’. The drama, which will air from the 16th, depicts the romance between an island bachelor (Lee Yi-kyung) whose life goal is marriage and a 7th-grade civil servant (Jo Soo-min) who advocates singlehood.
MBC’s ‘The Phone Call You‘re Dialing Now’, starring Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin, and tvN’s ‘Love on a Single-Log Bridge’, starring Joo Ji-hoon and Jung Yu-mi, will air on the 22nd and 23rd, respectively. Although the genres are completely different, such as thriller and romantic comedy, the chemistry between the leads is worth watching.
