From filial piety trips to vacation spots were revealed.
On the JTBC show ‘Tokpawon 25 Hours’ that aired on the 4th, the show presented the fun of choosing from a virtual trip starting with Ha Long Bay, the holy land of filial piety in Vietnam, along with guest Nam Chang-hee, to Kansai, Japan, Puglia, Italy, and Palm Springs, USA.
First, in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam‘s number one scenic spot and a World Natural Heritage site, the Vietnamese couple Tokpawon attracted attention by experiencing a one-day luxury tour on a 5-star cruise. After admiring the ink-and-wash painting-like scenery from the boat, Tok Pawon, a married couple who arrived at Hang Luon, decided to go kayaking. Kim Sook, who had been to Ha Long Bay 15 years ago, told a story about her trip back then, saying, “There was nothing like this.”
Following the spectacular scenery of Hang Luon, surrounded by limestone cliffs on all sides, Tok Pawon headed to Ti Top Island and climbed 400 steps to see if she could reach the observatory with her parents. As she climbed up, sweating, Tok Pawon arrived at the observatory while receiving cheers from elderly tourists from Korea, drawing exclamations as she shared the wonderful view of Ha Long Bay.
The trip to Kansai, Japan, taken by train caught the eye because it had twin seats and salon seats, which were different from regular trains. In Japan, Tokpawon visited Otagi Nenbutsuji in Arashiyama, where they met unique Arhat statues, tasted aburi mochi and green tea at a shop that opened in the year 1,000, and guided them to Todaiji, the world’s largest wooden structure and the center of Japanese Buddhist culture, and Nara Deer Park, a sanctuary for deer.
In addition, when Tokpawon introduced an exercise bike at the Kansai Cycle Sports Center that allows you to exercise your arms and shoulders, Yang Se-chan made everyone laugh by saying, “I should give this to Jong-guk hyung as a gift.” They also took a commemorative photo at a special photo spot with the famous signboard of Dotonbori in Osaka.
In Puglia, Italy, they visited small cities such as Ostuni and Andria, which are called the “White Cities,” and the nearby city of Matera. In particular, the mysterious appearance of Sassi, a cave dwelling place where humans have lived since prehistoric times, and the tranquil night view of Matera created a unique atmosphere.
Before the online trip to Palm Springs, USA, Nam Chang-hee said that he had been to LA, USA and chose the J. Paul Getty Museum as a memorable place. Nam Chang-hee, who has a lot of interest in art and also enjoys going to temples, and Jeon Hyun-moo once again found something in common that seemed fateful, adding to the laughter by throwing an exciting comment, “Today is your first day.”
The online trip to Palm Springs was filled with Coachella Valley, which was established to preserve the desert ecosystem, the Living Desert Zoo and Botanical Gardens, where you can meet various animals, and Joshua Tree National Park. Among them, when the picturesque sunset of Joshua Tree National Park decorated the finale, Lee Chan-won said, “This is the most amazing closing I‘ve ever seen on ‘Tokpawon 25 Hours’,” and Kim Sook exclaimed, “It’s really pretty.”
