Actor Lee Dong-gun will be starring in the short-form drama ‘Useless Love’.
The short-form drama ‘Useless Love’ (written by Park Ji-hye/directed by Lee Jung-seop) starring Lee Dong-gun is a hilarious romance between neighbors and cousins that depicts the story of an old bachelor and an old maid who believe that men and women should get married after sleeping together and accidentally spending a night together, who are complete opposites of their ideal types. Lee Dong-gun will once again be teaming up with director Lee Jung-seop, with whom he previously worked on ‘Queen for Seven Days’ and ‘One and Only Love’.
In the drama, Lee Dong-gun transforms into Lee Moo-gae, a capable literary critic and editor-in-chief of a publishing company. Lee Moo-gae appears to be a perfect person who is a filial son, an honor student, and who takes good care of his younger sister, but he is so timid that he hesitates to even confess to the person he likes. His specialty is unrequited love. Lee Dong-gun, who captivated viewers with his delicate expressions of emotion and gentle charm, will show a new acting transformation.
Lee Dong-gun is an actor who has been loved by the public through many representative works such as ‘Break Your Own Life’, ‘Sangdoo, Let‘s Go to School’, ‘Sweet 18’, ‘Lovers in Paris’, ‘The Gentlemen of Laurel Tree Tailor Shop’, ‘Queen for Seven Days’, ‘One Love’, ‘Celebrity’. Recently, he has been approaching viewers with a humane and friendly appearance through SBS ‘My Little Old Boy’.
The short-form drama ‘Useless Love’ is scheduled to be released in January 2025 through the short-form streaming platform ‘PulsePick’, which is scheduled to be launched in beta.
