Bae In-hyeok, Kim Ji-eun, Jung Gun-joo, and Park Jae-chan transform into employees of a Joseon Dynasty hotel.

Channel A‘s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Check In Hanyang’ (written by Park Hyun-jin, directed by Myung Hyun-woo) will premiere on Saturday, December 21 at 7:50 PM. ‘Check In Hanyang’ is a coming-of-age romance historical drama that tells the story of Joseon’s largest inn ‘Yongcheonru’, which has an impudent motto of ‘The customer is king’, and the young Joseon lads who join the place as educational servants.

The unique worldview of ‘Check In Hanyang’, which started from the bold imagination of ‘What if there was a hotel like this in the Joseon Dynasty?’, was garnering attention, and on the 6th, the ‘Check In Hanyang’ lobby poster was released. The refreshing chemistry created by the four young people who entered Joseon‘s largest guest house, ‘Yongcheonru’, with their own goals, is drawing attention.

In the revealed poster, Lee Eun-ho (Lee Eun of Muyeong-gun, played by Bae In-hyeok), Hong Deok-soo (played by Kim Ji-eun), Cheon Jun-hwa (played by Jung Gun-joo), and Go Soo-ra (played by Park Jae-chan) greet guests coming to stay at Joseon’s largest guest house, ‘Yongcheonru’, in the lobby. The phrase ‘Here at Yongcheonru, the customer is the king’ placed at the top of the poster catches the eye. Yongcheonru‘s motto, ‘The customer is king’, is not a big problem in modern society, but in Joseon, a class society with a king sent from heaven, it is extremely impudent. It is even a dangerous statement that could lead to treason if wrongly linked.

Above all, the fact that the four young people who entered here all have different classes and backgrounds makes them even more curious. Prince ‘Muyeonggun Lee Eun’ Lee Eun-ho, who entered the drama pretending to be a man, Hong Deok-soo who lives as a woman for some reason, Cheon Jun-hwa (played by Jung Gun-joo), the heir to Yongcheonru, and Go Soo-ra (played by Park Jae-chan) from a ruined merchant family. However, regardless of their original positions, these four people are currently wearing the same clothes and doing the same job. This makes us even more curious about what kind of things these four will experience together at Yongcheonru and what kind of relationship they will form in the process.

‘Check In Hanyang’ will first air on Saturday, December 21st at 7:50 PM.
