At the production conference for KBS 2TV’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Face Me’ held at The Seate in Guro-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 6th, Lee Yi-kyung said, “I’ve been doing a lot of entertainment programs these days, and at first, I heard concerns from my seniors,” and “However, I’m happy that I’ve been able to show various sides of myself in the right era.”

Regarding ‘Face Me’ and ‘Marry You’, which are premiering ten days apart, he said, “We can’t just schedule them when we want, right? The cogs of the production companies and broadcasting companies have to mesh well. I think it‘s a coincidence. I’m worried that it might interfere with one‘s immersion,“ she said cautiously.

She continued, ”Fortunately, it seems like the trend is to accept even that as a character. I think viewers will appreciate my focus on the characters in the dramas. It’s a coincidence, but wouldn‘t it be great if at least one of the two dramas did well? I think of myself as a ’Lucky Vicky‘ holding two lottery tickets in my hand,“ she joked.

She also said about the recent success of tvN’s ‘Marry My Husband’, ”It‘d be a lie to say I don’t feel any pressure, but I think it‘ll be fun to watch because it’s a different drama.“ She continued, ”I finished filming ‘Face Me’ before ‘My Husband’. Coincidentally, we filmed both dramas on the same set at around the same time. “I was lucky that I could go back and forth between filming ‘Face Me’ in the morning and ‘Face Me’ in the evening,” he said.

‘Face Me’, which will be aired for the first time at 9:50 PM on this day, is a medical drama about a cool-headed plastic surgeon (Lee Min-ki) and a passionate MZ detective (Han Ji-hyun) from the violent crimes unit chasing the truth behind a case through reconstructive plastic surgery for crime victims. The lead roles include Lee Min-ki, Han Ji-hyun, Lee Yi-kyung, and Jeon Bae-soo.
