Another ‘cooking star’ has been born.

Amid the ‘chef craze’ in the broadcasting industry, Lee Jang-woo is taking on various entertainment programs with his extraordinary cooking skills.

Following the huge popularity of Ryu Soo-young, who is called ‘Mr. Eo-nam’, this time, Lee Jang-woo has caught the attention.

Lee Jang-woo is attracting attention by releasing two new entertainment programs under his own name. This is thanks to his combination of easy recipes that anyone can follow and his own unique entertainment sense.

He will reveal his extraordinary cooking skills through MBC‘s new entertainment program ‘Chief Bin-chan’, which will air for the first time on the 10th.

The program will reveal a ‘very easy side dish recipe’ that even a single person can easily make, and announcer Kim Dae-ho will also appear.

This is a recipe that Lee Jang-woo actually developed, and as the ‘Delicious Jang-woo’ series even featured convenience store food, attention is focused on another ‘special recipe’ that he will reveal this time.

According to the program officials, Lee Jang-woo adds to the fun of watching by making various side dishes ‘quickly’ using recently harvested seasonal ingredients.

The production crew of ‘Captain’s Side Dishes’ said, “Lee Jang-woo will cook a variety of dishes with ingredients that are not often served as main dishes, and will take responsibility for healthy and delicious meals”.

He goes beyond cooking and even makes ‘alcohol’. He has thrown down the gauntlet to making alcohol through the new entertainment show ‘Countryside Village Lee Jang-woo’, which will air from the 27th.

The program follows Lee Jang-woo as he spends four seasons with his neighbors in a rural village in Gimje, Jeollabuk-do, and helps them revitalize an abandoned brewery in the area into a hot place.

Recently, various entertainment programs such as ‘Three Meals a Day’ ‘Sister‘s Farm Delivery’ have garnered attention by moving the environment to the ‘countryside’ and showing off the cooking skills of the cast members, so attention is also focused on the unique country meal that Lee Jang-woo, who has ‘real cooking skills’, will present.

According to the production team, ‘A man who is serious about food’ Lee Jang-woo devoted a year to making makgeolli.

This makgeolli is the result of Lee Jang-woo researching side dishes since the beginning of the year in order to prepare a ‘perfect Korean meal’, and he ended up brewing a liquor that goes well with them. To this end, he even farmed rice in Gimje, a granary.

Ahead of the first broadcast, the production team also prepared an opportunity to taste the makgeolli and country food created through Lee Jang-woo’s hard work. On the 17th, an opening ceremony invitation event will be held for online applicants and the old brewery and restaurant will be revealed.
