Choi Moo-sung leaves a deep impression.
Choi Moo-sung‘s presence adds to the solidity as he plays the father Kim Dae-wook, who is like a roof to three young men in the JTBC Wednesday drama ‘Prefabricated Family’ (written by Hong Si-young and directed by Kim Seung-ho).
According to the production team, Kim Dae-wook, who came down to Haedong-si with his family about 10 years ago, endured the pain inside while his wife showed her entire body over the loss of her daughter. He gave up his position in Seoul and moved to Haedong to protect his family, but his wife could not bear the pain of losing her child and left him. In this way, Kim Dae-wook was left alone with his son Kim San-ha (played by Hwang In-yeop) in the face of another separation, but they formed a special family when they met the next-door neighbors Yoon Jung-jae (played by Choi Won-young) and his daughter.
With Kang Hae-joon (played by Bae Hyun-sung), who was left behind due to his mother’s absence, Kim Dae-wook had more family members to take care of. Accordingly, Kim Dae-wook lived diligently as a father of three children with Yoon Jung-jae for 10 years.
In particular, Yoon Jung-jae was in charge of taking good care of the children‘s food and clothing, while Kim Dae-wook faithfully protected the family. When Kim San-ha and Kang Hae-joon got into a fight with their friends to protect Yoon Joo-won and ended up at the police station, instead of using his position as a police officer to defend his children, he scolded them and told them to punish them. When it comes to his children, Kim Dae-wook, who never hesitates to be firm, has always maintained a perfect balance with the affectionate Yoon Jung-jae, and has sought safety and peace in the family.
However, the reason Kim Dae-wook fell apart was also because of his family. Yoon Jung-jae, who had become his closest companion while sharing moments of laughter and tears with him for 10 years, stepped in to sprinkle salt on Kang Hae-joon (played by Lee Jong-hyuk) when he was having a hard time because of Kang Hae-joon’s biological father, Yang Dong-goo (played by Lee Jong-hyuk), and he gave us a refreshing response with his cider-like response. He also caused laughter by arguing with Yoon Jung-jae over the cost of beer and complaining about side dishes, creating cute chemistry.
In this way, Choi Moo-sung stimulates empathy by portraying a father who seems to be from real life, while occasionally showing off his unexpected charm through his unexpected actions. Here, the acting of Choi Moo-sung, who is one with the character of Kim Dae-wook, who is not very talkative but silently guards the children, is drawing attention.
‘Prefabricated Family’ is broadcast twice in a row every Wednesday at 8:50 PM.
