Myung Seo-hyun of MBN‘s ‘Decision to Divorce Once’ visits the studio to untangle the tangled thread of ‘In-law Conflict’.

In the final episode of ‘Decision to Divorce Once’ (abbreviated as ‘Hani-gyeol’), which will air on the 10th, Jung Dae-se, who visited his hometown Nagoya, Japan, sheds tears while having a one-on-one conversation with his mother, with whom he has virtually cut off contact due to the conflict between his mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Also, Jung Dae-se’s wife Myung Seo-hyun will appear in the studio herself and share honest thoughts about her mother-in-law while watching her on video for the first time in three years, drawing much attention.

According to the production team, Myung Seo-hyun greeted the two MCs Kim Yong-man and Oh Yoon-ah and then revealed her thoughts on visiting the studio. She said, “Throughout my marriage, I never once talked about my concerns about conflict between my mother-in-law and daughter-in-law to my mother or anyone else,” and “However, because of the conflict between my mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, our relationship continued to worsen, so I decided to appear on ‘One More Time’ to try to resolve it somehow.” Here, Oh Yoon-ah says, “Actually, I think Myeong Seo-hyun was very nervous before coming here,” and asks, “Is it okay to watch a video of your in-laws, who have a lot of bad memories?” When Myeong Seo-hyun quietly nods, Jung Dae-se‘s Nagoya story is revealed on the VCR.

Jung Dae-se is having a good time with his older sister and nephews who live at his parents’ house, and he takes his nephews to visit the famous Nagoya landmark, ‘Mirai Tower’. Jung Dae-se, who is absorbed in the beautiful night view of Nagoya from the observatory, says, “How great it would have been if our children had come here with us?” and pretends to be unable to withstand the nephews‘ nagging, calls his wife and tries to video call her. Myeong Seo-hyun, who is talking on the phone for the first time since her fight with her husband, is flustered, but greets her nephews brightly, and the nephews brightly say, “We miss our aunt,” and ask her to come to Nagoya. After hanging up the phone, Myeong Seo-hyeon becomes lost in thought and later asks her daughter, “Do you want to go to Japan?” and her daughter replies, “Yes. With mom.” As Myeong Seo-hyeon becomes even more troubled by her daughter’s unexpected answer, Jung Tae-se gathers up his courage and tries to talk to his mother on the morning of the day he leaves Nagoya.




Jung Tae-se, sitting across from his mother, who is in her seventies, recalls the love he received from her in the past and expresses his gratitude, but also starts to weep when he talks about his children in Korea. The mother‘s eyes redden at the sight of her tears. Myung Seo-hyun, who was watching the conversation between the two in the studio, makes an inscrutable expression, and when the video ends, Oh Yoon-ah asks, “How did you feel when you saw the two of you?” Myung Seo-hyun starts by saying, “To be honest,” and trails off, saying, “I felt like Dae-se was being self-satisfied. I wonder if the mother-in-law is really sincere.” Lee Hye-jung, who had been similarly hurt by a conflict between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in the past, sympathizes with Myung Seo-hyun’s honest words, but also offers realistic advice for the couple.
