Group WEi member Kim Jun-seo will be challenging acting for the first time since his debut.

According to his agency WEi Entertainment, Kim Jun-seo has been cast as the lead role of Jung Da-on in the drama ‘Secret Between Us’, based on a popular webtoon by Kakao Entertainment.

‘Secret Between Us’ is a work that contains a complex and subtle romance between four men who are entangled in secrets, and has achieved explosive popularity around the world, reaching 170 million cumulative views. Also gaining attention as the first BL drama from comprehensive content studio Playlist, ‘Secret Site’ is a highly anticipated drama co-produced by Japan‘s leading broadcaster Fuji TV and Kakao Entertainment.

Kim Jun-seo plays Jeong Da-on, who is praised as a ‘newbie’ by those around him for his prestigious university background, cute looks, and extraordinary brains, but in reality, he lives a ‘wanted’ life, taking care of his parents who are in debt and his younger sibling. A complex romance will unfold around Jung Da-on, and Kim Jun-seo is expected to add vitality to the drama by reinterpreting the character’s charm.

‘Secret Love’, starring Kim Jun-seo, will begin filming in earnest on the 9th and is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2025.
