Sung Jun “I was worried about the atmosphere on set even without the ostracism… but I had fun filming” (The Fiery Priest 2)
The actors who joined the new season of the drama ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ shared their thoughts.
First, Sung Jun said at the production conference for the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ held at the SBS building in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 8th, “Season 1 was such a good piece of work, so I enjoyed watching it too. Since the villain in Season 1 was strong, I thought about what kind of charm the villain in Season 2 would have while filming. I thought the atmosphere would be good even without the seniors being ostracized, but I also had fun filming while watching them continue the scene by fully embracing it”.
Seo Hyun Woo said, “‘The Fiery Priest 1’ was a hot topic among the actors as well. There was even jealousy and envy,” he joked, “The actors who did this kind of work looked so happy and the teamwork seemed good, so I thought I definitely wanted to do it too, and I was happy that I got the offer. I filmed diligently with a pleasant excitement and burden so as not to become a burden to the project.”
Kim Hyung-seo (Vivi) said, “Since Season 1 went well, I started with ambition. I don’t have much experience with works, but I felt that there would be no other set like this. I felt personally saved. I laughed a lot on set, and this work had a big impact on my life. I’m grateful and I love you for being able to be with you.”
‘The Fiery Priest 2’, which returned five years after the blockbuster Season 1, is a collaborative investigation drama about Kim Hae-il, a passionate priest with anger management issues who is a priest during the day and the boss of the angel group for ‘Bellato’ at night, leaving for Busan to fight against the country’s biggest drug cartel. The first broadcast on SBS at 10 p.m. on the 8th (Friday) as a follow-up to ‘The Judge from Hell’.
